El Norte (Día #4): Burgos…

Our last official stop of the excursion was, as you can tell by the title, Burgos, capital of the province of the same name in the community Castilla y León (where Salamanca is)…

Now, we were planning on touring El Real Monasterio de Huelgas–but it was closed (a real let down, there)…However, we still ended up seeing La Catedral, which was totally cool with me!!…

And for lunch, I went to this nice little restaurant, where I had some fettecini-type pasta with shrimp…

…and some violet sorbet–no really, it’s made from the actual flower!!…Besides a somewhat weird aftertaste, it was actually quite good…

All-in-all, it was a good way to end the excursion, :-)…

Vale, dime: Have you ever been to Burgos, and if so, what, to you, was the best part???…

On a side note, this is my 25th post as an abroad blogger!!!!…I’m about as excited as Key and Peele, here (Gracias, Caminante [Walker])–and yes, I love Liam Neeson, too, :-)…
