T-Minus One Week To The Next Adventure…

…HELLO, lovely readers–long time, no speaky!!!!…I am SO stoked to announce the destination of my next international adventure…I’m delighted to announce that I am going to the beautiful country we like to call…

…[The Republic of] IRELAND!!!!…

You see, I have the privilege of traveling with the Wake Forest University Concert Choir…When I starting singing in Concert Choir (which is the main touring vocal ensemble at Wake), I always thought it would be awesome to be part of one of the periodic international tours that the ensemble enjoys, but I wasn’t sure if the opportunity would present itself while I was at Wake…Thankfully, it HAS, :-D!!!!…

Our Itinerary:

We leave for Dublin next Friday (March 7th), and we should arrive at around 8:40ish at the airport there…From that point, we’ll make our way to Galway, where we’ll be staying at The Connacht Hotel, which seems to be pretty pleasant lodgings…After those three days in Galway, we’ll spend the rest of our time in The Emerald Isle in Dublin, where we’ll reside at The Camden Court Hotel, which is smack-dab in the middle of the city from what I’ve been told!!…

Here are some of the places I’m excited to go to (!!):

…The Cliffs of Moher…

…Galway Cathedral…

…The Aran Islands…

…The Guinness Storehouse…

…County Wicklow (specifically Glendalough)…

…and, of course, The Temple Bar District!!…

It’s crazy how truly blessed I’ve been–last Spring Break was in Andalucía, and now this year (my last of undergrad) I’ll be in good old Oireland…May more epic adventures commence, :-)!!…

Has anyone else been to either Galway or Dublin (or The Aran Islands or County Wicklow), and if so, what should I definitively check out???…

Update: Due to logistical conflicts, it turns out that I’m not going to the Aran Islands after, all, :-(…However, this is our replacement destination:
