If I Could Turn Back Time: My Top 5 Do-Over Destinations…

Taking a page from Kirstie from Venga, Vale, Vamos, I’ve decided to list the cities that I have the most ganas to visit all-over again–in no particular order, mind you!!…It’s somewhat difficult to narrow it down to just 5, but here I go, anyways!!…

1) London, England

Me--The London Eye

While so many other girls have fallen head-over-heels in love with Paris, I’ve been carrying a flame for Londontown ever since I had the pleasure of living and studying there for a month last summer…I mean, what’s there NOT to fall in love with (besides the crowds in summer)???…When I return, I’m DEFINITELY going to hit up more museums and visit more markets!!…

2) New York City, U.S.A.

Me--New York City...

Besides London, N.Y.C. is the place that I could definitely see myself living in for a couple of years…It’s got everything this girl could ask for: ethnic/cultural diversity, museums, theatre, libraries, shopping–I could go on!!…

3) Dublin, Ireland

Me--Guinness Factory...

I was in Dublin this past March for a few days when I went on a tour of The Republic of Ireland with my university’s choir, and man was that a [final] Spring Break to remember!!…To me, it’s like a smaller, Irish London…When I eventually make it back, I have to enjoy more of the live music–though, maybe not so much the Guinness (yuck)!!…

4) Córdoba, Spain

La Mezquita de Córdoba

Perhaps my favorite city in Andalucía, I became enraptured with Córdoba’s mudejár (Moorish-lite) flair–indeed, the Alcázar de los Reyes Cristianos and Mezquita left me absolutely gobsmacked!!…When I return, I simply must spend more time getting lost in the Old Jewish Quarter and admire those beautiful white-washed houses….

5) San Sebastián, Spain

View of San Sebastián...

Although I was only there for an evening last year, I fell under San Sebastián’s magic spell–but then again, how could you not with a city this beautiful?!?!…When I return, I’ll definitely bring more money to spend on the AMAZING pinchos there, as well as visit that little amusement park that’s on the mountainside!!…

Now, I nominate 5 of my favorite bloggers to do the same!!…

Elizabeth from Peachy Sangria

Margo from Guten Blog, Ya’ll

Jessi from Two Feet, One World

Annie from MontgomeryFest

Mike from Mapless Mike

What about you???…Are there any places you would do all over again???…

  1. Berlin. Went there as a teenager and loved it. I daresay it would not live up to my 13 year old’s hype though.

I like that you have a to do list in each place, not just a vague wish to revisit!

  2. I definitely agree with you with #1. I was there for 10 days and it still didn’t feel like enough. I spent about the same amount of time in NYC and while I could go back, it’s not super high on my list. If anything I’d just eat and eat and eat. I haven’t been to Spain yet so definitely gotta go! Thanks for linking up to the #SundayTraveler again!
