Well, folks, the day has finally come…Once again, I find myself lugging every essential thing I possibly can (without exceeding weight limits) into my beloved orange Nautica suitcase…
…my passport (and letter for the UK Boarding Agency)…
…and a healthy amount of pound sterlings…
…and going across the Atlantic to an exotic locale–this time, it’s London…
Now, I’ve always known I would go to London at some point in my life–but I didn’t imagine it would be so soon after my first adventure in international travel–and I can honestly say that it’s an EXTRAORDINARY blessing to be able to do so, something that most people in the world cannot say for themselves…
Granted, I’m only going to be there 5 weeks (yeah, I know it’s not that short a time–but I feel like you could be in London for a lifetime and still not be able to fully experience it), and yes, I’m going to be doing actual work there, what with my Intro to Global Trade and Commerce Studies class–but still, I hope to have at least some fun and adventure before all’s said and done!!!!…
So, here’s to a productive–yet thrilling–5 weeks in one of the most exciting cities in the world–about which, of course, I’ll give you deets through my beloved blog here (starting as soon I settle in tomorrow), :-)…
Enjoy London!
…Why, thank you, Carl–I PLAN on it, :-D!!!!…
