O.K., folks, time for Official Excursion #2…In case you couldn’t tell by the title, I’m headed to el norte de España!!!!…
That’s right–a hotbed of beautiful coastline, landscape that resembles the British Isles, and deliciosos mariscos (delicious seafood)!!!!…
Only this time, it’s gonna be a little bit crazier (Read: 8 cities in 4 days)…
So here’s a little bit of a preview of what I have to look forward to this weekend…
Day #1–León & Oviedo
First stop’s León, where we’ll head to La Casa de los Botines (some place Gaudí planned–no big deal), the Catedral y Basílica de San Isidro, and this beauty right here:

After that, we’ll head straight to Oviedo, where we’ll stay overnight after seeing Santa María de Naranco, San Miguel de Lillo, San Julián de los Prados, y:

Day #2–Llanes, Comillas, Santillana del Mar & Santander
After leaving Oviedo in the morning, we’ll go to Llanes, where they have these odd (yet pretty) Cubos de la Memoria…
(…I’m just as confused as the rest of you…)
Then, we’ll stop by Comillas for the , the and the “Capricho de Gaudí”…
…La Universidad Pontificia, and…
…El Palacio y Panteón de Sobrellano (I don’t know which I’m excited to see more–the school, or the castle [a girl can never see too many castles!!!!])…
Next is an ever so brief stop at Santillana del Mar, where we’ll see the Colegiata de Santa María, before we head over to Santander, where we’ll stay overnight…

Day #3–Bilbao & San Sebastián
Next up, Bilbao–And you know what that means…The Guggenheim!!!!…
After some of that artistic action, we’ll head over to San Sebastián, where we’ll see many things, including:

Day #4–Burgos
Our final stop of the whole shebang is Burgos, and I’m most excited to see

Now let me make a disclaimer: Betty here has 2 more essays and 2 more midterms for next week…Ergo, while I do try to be a very diligent blogger, I can’t guarantee I’ll have a post for everyday of the excursion (I really need to study and the Wi-Fi will most likely be a hit-or-miss thing in these small cities)…However, I promise that once all this craziness is over, I’ll definitely fill you in on all that went down…
Oh, and to anyone who’s been where I’m going who’s reading this, where do you suggest I go in my free time (feel free to comment below)???…
But, enough babbling–I seriously need to pack!!!!
